Culture Note: In Germany, May 1st is Father's day. Traditionally men take this opportunity to gather together, bringing wagons of beer along for company. Many churches also choose to use this nationally recognized holiday (all businesses are closed) to go hiking with one another. In the photo above, you can see that we chose to do just that.
