What I'm Reading: What's So Amazing About Grace? by Yancey

Friday morning I traveled to Oberhausen with Heike to go shopping with some women from the Dortmund church. We visited what Heike thought was the biggest mall in Germany (about the size of a regular one in the States). After the shopping trip I headed to Dortmund to spend the weekend with a couple living there. Their house has a really relaxed atmosphere and was the perfect place to recharge. I finished up one of my favorite childhood books, Where the Red Fern Grows by Rawls and had plenty of time to play with their newly adopted dog and their daughter Hannah. I was also able to go to a prayer meeting, have dinner with some of those involved with their English group, and meet with various Dortmund aquaintances individually.

Answered Prayer:
You may remember me asking you to pray that a man from Dortmund, Thomas Lobe, would be able to find a job in Köln and move here to help our work. Well, he hasn't found a job yet (keep praying), but he has cancelled his apartment contract in Dortmund and expects to join us here sometime this summer anyways. We have also heard from a couple of people in the States who might be interested in joining us. Please pray that they would get good council from those around them and would be guided by God as they consider this possibility.
