Tour Guide

Mood: Psalm 42:1-2
Stage notes: contemporary german worship musik blaring

After only two months in the city, I have become the official CDC tour guide :). I spent today with Yeap from Malaysia. After school we shared lunch and walked around the city. Later we had dinner and watched 'Luther'. It gives a reasonably good snapshot of some major themes of christianity and seems to be fairly historically accurate. As a bonus, it's a good conversation starter. It's also fun to watch in Germany because we're living where so much of the story takes place.

Pic of the Dom. It's about 515 feet tall, so obviously this was taken from quite a bit of distance.

Street artist's rendering of the Pope. Too bad it rained for much of the day here.
