Stage notes: Nina Simone's 'Compassion'
This is a view of the side of the Bonnets house (actually, it is shared by several families). In 1427 a large landowner lived here. His profession was that of a beekeeper, which explains the picture. His hives were on the surrounding land which is now the suburb of Porz.
