Some friends bought the movie "Ratatouille" for my birthday and we watched it in German with 5 appreciative kids who were excited to stay up past their bedtimes. In the corner you can see Jonathan Bonnet showing off his new "magic" cards. Afterwards, I was able to visit the Ford family in Dortmund which included playing with their 2 wonderful kids and a very cuddly dog. All in all, a much better birthday than I had expected.

Deborah, a friend of the Goerings, asked me to take her around the city. Although I have seen the Dom more times than I can count, our visit was especially nice. A boys choir visiting from London sang in Latin and English. If this were not enough, as we were visiting the bell tower, the bells were rung for the first time since I have been here. We then took a walk along the Rhine and talked about God.
