Homecoming

A couple of weeks ago I arrived in the States. The feeling of being on a mission trip to my own country was a bit surreal, but I have managed to settle in (just in time to leave).

I have really enjoyed being able to have quality one-on-one time with friends and family. Although I have been able to have occasional limited conversations with people on the phone over the past year, nothing beats being able to see someone smile in response to a joke or give a warm hug in greeting.
