What I'm Reading: Heinrich Böll in German
Last week Sally took a break from Ukraine to visit me in Köln. Highlights included a visit to a Jewish mikvah that was over 1000 years old, a dinner party with 12 people from English Conversation (which included real pumpkin pie!), and an attack from pigeons with a case of indigestion (ask me about it sometime).
