Texas team

Noise: Netherlands vesus Portugal, Thomas crunching on a carrot

I headed to Dortmund this weekend. A short-term team from Texas is there, including a man who is considering if God has future plans for him in Köln. It is fun to hear the Texas y'alls and drawl mixed with fledgling attempts at pronouncing the German umlauts:). Seriously, please pray that they would have a fruitful week.

A friend from church (Ina) opened her home to me and we were able to talk more deeply than has been previously possible. We also went on an 8K walk through a nature preserve, played a lot of board games, and hung out with Thomas Lobe (who devoted several hours towards helping with my German homework). I would like to post some sort of a ''one-year reflections'' blog. We'll see what the week ahead brings.
