What I'm Reading: The Satanic Mill by Preussler (A German Fairytale about the struggle between powers of evil and love)

Following lunch with Martin yesterday, I went for a 5 hour walk in the rain with an aquaintance. During the course of our adventure, we both learned several new words, hopped two fences, and played Frogger with real cars. Very un-German.

Today I helped the Bonnets to entertain some out-of-town guests. We went to the German History Museum in Bonn. I've been there before, so today I mainly busied myself with people watching. The most interesting comments I heard came from children. In front of a section of the Berlin wall a child exclaimed,''They had a party just because they broke a wall!?'' and in a room filled with pictures of dead jews a child said, ''this is boring'' when what they were seeing was explained to them.
