They're Heeeere. . .

Mood: OK
Stage notes: sitting at an internet cafe with my Mom and Aunt Marie in Neumarkt

So my family finally got here. They were in the airport or on a plane for about 48 hours. They lost 2 bags, were rerouted through London on another airline, had to pay $20 for lunch at Burger King in the London airport, and had to pay for a room to stay the night in Chicago. We are forgetting all that, however, and starting anew. Pray, PRAY HARD! (We are not such a lucky family sometimes).

Marie's 2 cents, ''I never want to see the Chicago airport again''
Laura's 2 cents, ''I'm so glad that I am finally not wearing the same clothes that I have been in for three days''
Brandi's 2 cents, ''I'm really glad that they are not wearing the same 'stand on their own clothes' that they have been wearing for the last three days''

When you wash things by hand, three days is not long to wear clothes. Of course, I usually alternate between outfits...

That really is some bad luck! I'm glad that your family finally got to visit you and live in your shoes for a time...I can only imagine what your life is like now.
