Youth Center, Small Group

Mood: cozy
Stage Notes: just in the door from church --> shortly out the door to celebrate St. Martins

A friend of mine played matchmaker this week. She invited me over for dinner to meet a couple who operate a youth center here in Köln. They are searching for people to teach English and Computers. I don't know what might come of it, but I am looking forward to seeing their center on Tuesday.

I asked Heike and Pam if they would be interested in beginning a small group together. They agreed that this would be a good idea, and I am greatly looking forward to our first meeting together. Pray that we might be an encouragement to one another and that our friendship would deepen as we work together here.

It would be great if we were able to interest people in coming to my flat after English Conversation to talk about the Bible and have food together. Please pray that we would find a core group that was committed to this idea.

I would like to remain longer in Köln to help the Bonnets. Visa and finance issues are still a problem, however. Please pray that it would be clear what steps need to be taken next and that the authorities here would be favorable towards my intentions.

I'm coming back to the States on December 15th. I expect to be at all of the Riv services that weekend, and would love to see everyone. I thought that perhaps I could have a ''party'' before or after the Saturday services so that I could see as many of you as possible while I am in town. Let me know what you think, or if you have a preference of times.

Hey Brandi!
Maybe Megan and I will catch you that weekend since we'll be home for Christmas starting the 17th. We'll be praying for your future decisions with staying in Germany, etc.
