Stage notes: a babble of languages is surrounding me in an internet cafe

Last night I went to a Bible study and met several very nice German students. One of them helped me to translate some paperwork that I needed to sign. Several others were interested in coming to English conversation group next week and I am hoping that they will be able to make it.

I signed the contract for my new apartment this morning. Later, after German class, we had our first English club at the new location. There were only nine of us there, but it was still a nice evening. I was glad to have a chance to talk with a couple of Americans who were new in town. I had met them earlier in the week at a Football party and told them about the group. It has been encouraging to see God pulling things together here lately. It can feel nice when you are able to work to make things happen, but when you see things happen that can only be the result of God's work it is ten times more encouraging for me.
