Drachenfels

Mood: quiet
Stage notes: watching the Bonnet kids

Today I went to Drachenfels mountain with Heike and the kids. I was very proud of the kids. They walked up a steep gradient for almost 90 minutes to reach the top. At the summit there was a small castle and a great view. Along the route there was a little reptile house to explore, machines that you could put money in to watch a puppet show, and active beehives that had been designed with paintings of people over them. The bees flew in and out of the painted mouths.
