Mood: really good
Stage notes: Nina Simone singing, ''Lonely Cities''
I got home after 1AM again last night. I went to an English language Bible study around 8PM, and we did not finish talking and praying with one another until midnight. The study was led by an American man who has lived in Köln for 15 years. He came over from the States to play professional Football (American style) with the Köln Krocodiles. After 13 years of playing he is now a coach. His wife is German, and they have 3.5 children. About half of the time was spent in English and half in German, which was just the right balance. Afterwards we had a mean Southern-style apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream. To show how small a world it is, I had previously met three of the women who came and I only knew that one of them would be there.

3.5 children? How does that one work? The apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream sounds fabulous :)
What Yi said. And I didn't know there were any American football teams outside the US. Trippy. :)
