Breakfast at Sigrun's

A woman I met at English conversation invited me to breakfast at her house today. We were joined by her daughter and sister. She has a lovely and welcoming home. We talked about religion, politics, Ethiopia, Hurricane Rita, and many other things over the course of several hours (almost entirely in German!). They were very patient with my mistakes, and it was a lot of fun to spend time with them. I was also invited to join Sigrun at an Ethiopian restaurant this Saturday. Apparently it features Ethiopian dancing and is a common meeting place for the Ethiopian community here. I am looking forward to it.

P.S-In case you haven't heard, Clark did great in the Runoffs this weekend!
