settling in

Mood: studious
Stage Notes: Evening news in German, Ani Defranco playing in my head

Today Ukraine seceeded from our class and Brazil, Russia, and Cameroon joined it. I'm starting to settle into a routine. Awaken at 5:30. Time with God, dress, eat, and catch the bus by 7. School from 8-1 followed by a few hours of homework and study. Return to the Bonnets for dinner and get ready to go out and meet people in the evening. I think that here I will need to resolutely keep a Sabbath day to recharge and keep my focus on God. I'm unsure where this will fit, but I think that with time I will get a better sense of the ideal pattern.

Prayer requests: God's leading in finding a place to live; stamina in extending beyond my comfort zone to meet students at CDC and at the Universität; faithfulness in following up with the people we met last week; co-laborers.

I'm disappointed to hear that Ukraine seceded...I was hoping that if I were to end up there, that you would be able to garner bits of info for me. Ah, well...

In other news, MSU finally agreed that I graduated and my transcript was faxed off to the PC today. The suspense continues.
