Pferde!

Johanna has riding lessons once each week on Saturdays. I cannot adequately express how glad I was to be able to spend an hour brushing down horses and playing with the dogs on the farm. There were about 50 horses being boarded there. I learned a lot of horse related vocabulary that I will almost never use, but who cares? It has to do with something I love, and I enjoyed the process of getting the children to tell me what things were.

Tonight I will be spending time figuring out how to tell the story of my journey towards God. I need to give my testimony at church tomorrow and I think that it will be helpful for the translator if they have some idea of what I will say. Hopefully I will have a chance to run through it with them before I am standing in front of the entire congregation.

Culture note: In Germany it is illegal to homeschool children and also to use spanking as a means of discipline.
